I have not had a good internet connection for the last couple days, so have not been able to make a post.
Tonight will just be a quick post to let my followers know that I have been at the dig and am slowly learning about how a dig operates.
After a quick trip to the Temple Mount on Sunday morning we headed to Kedma Village where we are staying during the dig.
We arrived just in time for lunch on Sunday and then went out to the dig site at Lachish on Sunday afternoon.
We were at the dig until late in the day and then it was back for a quick supper before heading off to bed.
This morning, Monday, we had to be on the bus at 4:40am for the trip to the dig site. We dig in the mornings before the heat of the day.
I plan on writing a post in the future about a typical day at the dig that will give you an idea of what goes on throughout the day.
For now, just a quick update, so look for details soon. Hopefully the internet availability will increase later this week and I can make a longer post during our afternoon rest session.
You can also find out more about our dig at Luke Chandler’s blog.

Wifi is still not fully working. I have to go across the complex and fight the mosquitoes. I will try and post at least every other day.
