The week has begun in South Africa with a full day of class.

Before heading to class I notified the front desk that I had a damaged chair in my room. The leg fell off while moving it, and on investigation it was found that it had previously been broken. I put it back together and was careful to always check it was OK before sitting down.

During the week while teaching, my blog often ends up with a lot of food pictures as I can’t share what goes on while teaching. Today was no exception, as I am sharing a picture from lunch. This lamb curry was tasty.

When I got back to the hotel I tooko sme pictures of some rabbits that roam the grounds of the golf course.

I also found out that the chair had been removed from my room. There was no replacement, but fortunately there was a boxy stool that I am able to use as a desk chair. It is just the right height and I am sitting on it now while typing.

The day ended with another beautiful sunset. I enjoyed the view before heading off for some dinner. I will spare you another picture of food 🙂
