Wednesday Image Search – Fau

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I skipped my Image Search post and instead posted about Love Stamps since it was Valentine’s Day. Even though I am traveling this week I decided to get back on schedule.

I recently started a new sequence. There are multiple ”*au’ combinations that will not find enough images. I already had to skip ‘aau’ and ‘bau’ in this ‘*au” sequence. This week I will search for ‘fau’ as I was able to find enough images.

What images will I find?

Yellow Rose Bud, insect legs, green rose, green tinge, st. patrick rose

The first image is of a rose bud. As all the images in this search, it comes from a Flora and Fauna post I have made in the past. Can you see the spider in this picture?

Pink rose, ladybug larvae, rose bushes, aphids, pest control

The next image is of a pink rose. Can you see the fauna in this one? If you look closely you can see ladybug larvae and aphids.

Bug on Thistle, Field of yellow flowers, flora and fauna, Toronto, Canada

Here the fauna in the image is a bug on top of a thistle. I took this picture in Toronto.

Bee, flower, Flora and fauna, Jena, Germany

Next we have a honey bee on a flower in Jena, Germany. I always like to capture pictures that combine flora and fauna.

ladybugs, roses, aphids, rose garden, rose bushes

The last image is of a ladybug crawling up the stem of a rose heading toward the aphids that it will be consuming. Here the fauna are hunter and hunted.

There were only a few ‘fau’ images to choose from. They were all part of flora and fauna pictures.

Which of these do you like best?

What should I search for next? I will probably just continue on with this new sequence.
