Pleasanton Chick-fil-A Opening Date

Last night I checked the Chick-fil-A website and an opening date has now been posted for the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A.

Pleasanton Chick-fil-A, Opening Date, Parking Lot, In-N-OutThe location is listed as Hopyard Road & 580. Above is a Google Maps shot of the site where the Chick-fil-A is being built. The picture is more than a year old so does not show any construction yet. Notice the In-N-Out Burger where I go to lunch when I take  pictures of the construction.

Chick-fil-A Pleasanton, Construction, Hopyard & 580I took this picture last Thursday. You can definitely see that the outside of the building is nearing completion. They are also starting to clean up the ground around the building.

They have a lot of work to do in the next two months before the opening date on November 17. Chick-fil-A’s grand openings are on Thursdays and this one is just one week before Thanksgiving.

Pleasanton, California, Opening Date, Chick-fil-A, opening soon, closed on SundaysThis looks like it will be the main parking area for the Chick-fil-A. You can see that some of the curb work has been completed.

Now that the opening date has been announced you can mark November 17 on your calendar. If all goes as planned I will not be traveling that day and could stop by for lunch on opening day.

Although the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A will be the closest to my work when it opens, it will not be the closest one to my home. The Stockton Chick-fil-A will open on October 27.

Are you looking forward to the opening of the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A?

Is Chick Fil A really that good? I’ve never eaten at one before. Also, going on Day One can be a bad idea… Inexperienced employees who don’t know what they are doing, long lines, slow service and subpar food. I might wait until early December to let the crowds (hopefully) f die down. Thursday is going to be a Zoo around Hopyard. Thanks!

I believe that they train their employees at other stores before the opening. They also bring in a large opening team of experienced workers from what I have heard. The food quality and service should not be an issue.

However, they will most likely be very busy and have long lines. I am sure that it will be a zoo as the roads around there are not the most efficient in moving people and the very popular In-N-Out is also there.
