The ZIP Codes eligible for the First 100 at the Stockton, California Chick-fil-A have been posted on the Chick-fil-A website.

The Stockton Chick-fil-A is scheduled to open on October 20 and I have friends who are a bit excited that they will soon have one closer to them than Sacramento or the Bay Area.

Update on September 20: The opening is now scheduled for October 27.

The Stockton Chick-fil-A will be the closest location to my home when it opens, however it will not be the closest to where I work. Unfortunately the one in Stockton is in the wrong direction for me. I rarely go to Stockton, and when I do I usually don’t make it past the downtown area.

I did find a picture of the Stockton Chick-fil-A under construction on Google Maps Street View. This is from July, and you can see that construction is well underway.

In my post The Closest Chick-fil-A? I mentioned that the Stockton location on March Lane will be one mile closer to my home than the one that will open in Pleasanton. There is still no opening date for the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A, but it will be:

I checked the ZIP Codes to see if I was eligible for the First 100 contest. I found that my ZIP Code was included and the areas eligible extend as far south as Patterson and the outskirts of Modesto. To the North some of the south part of Sacramento is also included.

Perhaps I will also be eligible for the First 100 contest in Pleasanton since I am only one mile further away.

However, since the contest is in the middle of the week I will probably be too busy with work. I will have to figure it out once I find out what the opening date will be.

I was accidentally at the grand opening of a McDonald’s once and got a nice souvenir mug. I may even still have it.
