According to the Chick-fil-A website the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A will open one month from today.

However, it will not be the closest Chick-fil-A to me when it opens. The Stockton Chick-fil-A will open on Thursday next week and will be just a bit closer. See: The Closest Chick-fil-A?

I drove by the construction site in Pleasanton this afternoon and took a few pictures.

They had the driveway closed off between Chick-fil-A and the adjacent building, so I could not get close to take a picture of the entrance of the building. However, I took a picture from a distance.

This is the entrance to the double drive-thru. They have completed the curb work and are all ready to complete the driveway.

Here you can see that they have started to landscape. They have planted trees and are working on sprinkler systems.

It is really starting to look like they will be ready to open next month. I am sure that in a couple weeks the outside work will be mostly completed.

Only one more month to go. I will be teaching a class just a few miles away, so will probably stop by for an early dinner after class on November 17th.
