I am tired tonight with a little residual jet lag. It has actually been a fairly relaxing day, even though it has not gone as planned.
Old Blue is not in the garage tonight. I took it in today for an oil change and it needed much more work. Instead I have a courtesy vehicle in my garage tonight since the work will not be completed until tomorrow.
I have been driving a Chevy Trax today. It is nice to sit a little higher, but there are definitely some missing features. Like some power 🙂 Also, I was trying to figure out how to use the cruise control until I realized it didn’t have it. The courtesy vehicle is a very basic model.
I do however like the fact that it is a bit shorter so have a bit more room in the garage. Hopefully though I can drive Old Blue for another year or so.
Wednesday night is Bible Study night. At our study tonight I was talking to one of my friends about Chicken Ribs. He may try and figure out how to make them.
There is a pretty good description in the US Patent 5779532 about how they are cut.
Of course this makes me think of chickens and here are some German chickens checking out a woodpile. See: German Farm Animals
OK, so here are some more chickens. However, these are happy California chickens. See: Chicken Coops II
Now for some sleep before braving my commute in the morning in an unfamiliar vehicle. However, it will be a good test for what my next car will be. I am thinking that sitting higher in traffic will be a benefit. The Chevy Trax may not be the car I buy next, but it will help answer some questions as to what I want.
