One week from today you will be able to satisfy your Chick-fil-A cravings in Pleasanton, California. The Pleasanton Chick-fil-A will open on Thursday, November 17.
I went to In-N-Out for lunch today and took some time to take more pictures of the Chick-fil-A. They now have a countdown sign at the site, and you can see that Chick-fil-A is opening in 7 days.
I took this picture while I was stopped at the stoplight after crossing over 580. You can definitely tell that this is the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A.
This side of the building looks a bit bare, but this is the drive thru side of the building. The other side of the building is better decorated but it is difficult to get a picture of it.
This is the end of the building where the main entrance is. It will be interesting to see the traffic dynamic with the drive thru exits and the parking lot being so close together. I know that I will be very careful walking past the drive thru area.
I like this picture as it really looks like a California Chick-fil-A. I like the row of palm trees in the background. Here you can see the outside seating area.
I am hoping to have an early dinner here next Thursday after finishing a class I am teaching. Hopefully the lines will not be too long in the late afternoon. I know that I don’t dare try to go at lunch on the opening day. I would probably not make it back in time to give the students their test.
The wait is almost over!
Steven
