This evening I stopped by the construction site of the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A to see how much more progress has been made on the new restaurant.

My last update was only two weeks ago, but it seems that a lot of work has been done since then. See: Pleasanton Chick-fil-A Construction Progress III

It was near sunset when I was taking the pictures which is a nice time to get some interesting light and shadows.

The area around the building looks much cleaner than it has before and you can see that they are starting to cover the walls.

I again noticed that the roofing of the building is not progressing. I am wondering why the shingles have just been setting on top of the roof for so long.

I like this picture with the building framed between the trees by the Smart & Final that is across the parking lot.

The Chick-fil-A will also share a parking lot with In-N-Out. Two restaurants with two hyphens 🙂

I am sure that this will be a very busy place once the Chick-fil-A opens.

I checked the website again tonight to see if the opening date has been released again. The opening is still not listed. However, I did see that Topeka, Kansas will have one opening soon.

I must make another visit soon since changes will be rapid at this phase of construction. I may see an In-N-Out burger in my lunch plans next week.
