The Firefighter

In downtown Tracy, California there is a really neat sculpture.

The Firefighter

The Tracy Firefighter statue stands in a small plaza next to the restored Fire Administration Building. The bricks in the circle around the base all have names of donors to the project. I also really like the trees behind the statue. They are a riot of color.
I really like this statue. The firefighter is life size and stands 6’6″ tall. The statue was created by California sculptor Lawrence Noble. The sculptor paid a lot of attention to detail and this statue is very life like. You can just image this firefighter fighting a fire helping to save both lives and property.

Tracy Firefighter Detail

I really like the detail in this shot. The suspenders look so realistic and the ax looks like it is ready to swing. The building on the right of this picture is the restored Fire Administration Building. I love the color of the building and also the beautiful red flowers around the base of the sculpture.

I also really like this shot as it shows some of the detail on the back of the statue.
Whenever I visit this small plaza, I am so thankful for all the firefighters across our great nation who help protect us every day.

What a beautiful plaza. The sculpture is very striking. Do you know what kind of trees those are behind (red ones)? Congratulations to Mr Noble, how accomplished he is in his art. I love this tribute!
