Today has been a long day, so I will write a short post about my favorite Barn Cat Tarragon.

I took this picture last week on the same day as I took the pictures for my post Bees and Blossoms.

As I was leaving the orchard I couldn’t pass up taking a picture of Tarragon.

Today I was back out at the orchard and Tarragon followed me around. I decided that he could help me learn how to use my new camera by being a model.

Here he had jumped up on a wagon to get close to me so that I would scratch his ears. It was hard to get him to hold still to take a picture. However, I really like this one. Especially the long white whiskers and the big cat eyes.

I wanted to get a nice picture of this century old peach tree. Tarragon decided that he wanted to be in the picture too. I really like the pink blossoms as they contrast with the green and yellow moss. In the background you can see an apricot orchard in bloom.

Here is a closer view of Tarragon perched on the tree branch. Not very high up on this old tree, but out of the mud generated from the rains last week.

As I was leaving to go to church services Tarragon jumped up on the roof of my car to say goodbye. Of course, I took the opportunity to get another close-up.

I really like the colors of the old barn and shed in the background.

I don’t have any pets of my own, but I really enjoy visiting my friends that do. Especially when the pets are as friendly as Tarragon.
