This afternoon I took a quick walk so I could take some pictures of the East County Hall of Justice in Dublin.
The building is getting close to completion, and is really starting to look good now that most of the exterior is complete.
The landscaping is well underway and even the sign at the entrance is up.
I have looked to see if there is an opening date for the new Hall of Justice, but all I could find is that it should be sometime in 2017.
The East County Hall of Justice is now Open you can click on the link to read the post I wrote on June 23.
Here is a wide view of the buildings. You can also see that there is a bus stop on the street in front of the building. I have heard that there will also be a stop near the actual entrance of the building and they plan on changing the bus route during the summer. This could point to a summer opening.
It will be interesting to see the building once all the landscaping is done and the fences come down. When possible I will make sure that I get some pictures.
They have spared some of the big trees in the median along Gleason Street and this makes for an interesting view through the trees.
I am not looking forward to all the extra traffic that the Justice Center will generate. I guess I will have to wait and see how it changes. Perhaps I will make a slight change in how I travel to work.
