Fall is less than a week away and it is time to think about the change in seasons.

Of course fall is also referred to as autumn, so you may see me use both of these terms in this post. My title had to be about fall though to get the nice alliteration.

Recently my post Autumn Poems has been receiving a lot of views. You can visit the post to read some short seasonal poems.

Next Thursday is the Autumnal Equinox which is the official start of fall or autumn. Click on the link to learn more about the equinox and why it marks the passage of seasons.

Of course fall is also Pumpkin Spice Time . When the change of seasons nears it is also time for new Seasonal Food Items to appear on the shelves of the stores.

One of the things that I look forward to in the fall is the the changing colors of the trees. For more pictures of Fall Color click on the link. The picture above was taken in Toronto a couple of years ago.

Last year I was in Toronto for Canadian Thanksgiving just as the trees were changing color.

My friend John, along with two of his kids, took me for a drive through the countryside north of Toronto. I really liked this secluded country lane with the beautiful trees.
