I have been watching a travel show on TV where the host is in Tokyo. That made my mind wander to Japanese food, so I will share pictures from some of the previous posts I have written about Japanese Food.
I will start with a picture of Soba noodles. Click on Slurping Soba for more pictures and information about this meal. Do you know why the Japanese slurp their noodles?
Here is a picture from one of my course dinners in Tokyo. This is what nabemono looks like before the cooking process starts. Visit my post Course Dinner in Japan to see how the dish progressed.
If you want to see some more pictures of beautifully plated food visit my post Shabu-Shabu. I went to this dinner with my team members when we were in Tokyo for a medical conference. The dinner was not only beautiful but also delicious.
A little closer to home is Yanagi Sushi. Click on the link to see more of the food from this lunch I shared with one of the teams from our call center. Isn’t the Red Dragon sushi roll beautiful?
I can’t write a post about Japanese food without sharing a picture from one of my favorite places to eat at when I visit our office in Tokyo. I will usually have several meals at The Curry House during my trip.
Now I am thinking about having Japanese food for lunch tomorrow 🙂
Which of these restaurants would you eat at?
Steven
