During my trip to Israel a couple of years ago and on my recent trip to Turkey, several members of our group were always looking for Magnum bars.

Magnum bars come in a wide variety of flavors, starting with the Magnum Classic which is simply ice cream covered with Belgian chocolate.

Magnum bars were originally launched 25 years ago in Sweden and are now sold in many countries around the world. However, they were not available in the United States until just three years ago.

They have some interesting flavors in Turkey. One that I really liked was with pistachios. This one had a really nice taste and I really liked the crunch of the pistachios.

During the trip I also had a Magnum Classic, Double Chocolate and one that had Chili and Ganache with white chocolate.

There are many different varieties of Magnum bars and many are sold only in specific countries. They do a great job of targeting the local market.

Unfortunately, at this time there are only a limited number of flavors available in the U.S. I have not seen them available as singles, but have seen them in three packs at the grocery store. Today I bought a package of Double Caramel Magnum bars.

After I finished mowing the yard this afternoon I rewarded my efforts with a delicious treat. I would have much rather had just the Magnum Classic, but it is not available in the U.S. in a full size bar. They are only available as a Magnum Mini.
