Covid Cut

Today I was finally able to get my hair cut. I last got my hair cut at the end of January, so it has been seven months.

On Friday our governor announced that hair salons could reopen for indoor service on Monday so I contacted my hair stylist and made an appointment.

When I walked in I had to sign in, which was definitely a new procedure. I had to answer some questions about my health and they also took my temperature.

The Michele got busy and the floor was soon covered with piles of hair.

I had to unhook my mask and hold it in place for both the trimmer work and for washing my hair. Once the scissor work started I was able to hook the mask back in place which was more comfortable.

Once I got back home I did do some trimming of the beard, but not too much. It doesn’t bother me by tickling my ears or getting in my eyes.

Hopefully I won’t have to wait another seven months for the next haircut.
