Today I got my hair cut again. I last got my hair cut at the end of August, so it has been almost eight months.
At the end of the post about my Covid Cut then I wrote:
Hopefully I won’t have to wait another seven months for the next haircut.
It ended up having to wait that long and more.
Last Thursday was two weeks after my second vaccination shot, so I decided to make an appointment to get a haircut.
You can see that my hair is a bit out of control. I usually get my hair cut about every 10-12 weeks, so it was definitely time for a haircut.
My hair was getting really long. After washing it I can comb it straight down and it is so long it goes down past my eyes. I normally brush it straight back, and then after a couple hours it will be nice and wavy.
Look at all the waves and curls. As my hair dries it naturally starts to curl.
Last time I got my hair cut I had to get my temperature taken and sign in. Today I only had to come in and wait a few minutes for Michele to finish with the previous patient.
Then Michele got busy and the floor was soon covered with piles of hair.
Of course, I still had to wear my mask, but it was a lot more comfortable this time now that I am used to wearing one. Here is the pile of trimmings after they were swept up. You can see a lot of curls in the pile and a lot of natural highlights.
Once I got back home I trimmed my beard. I may end up shaving it off all together, but maybe not 🙂
Hopefully I won’t have to wait another seven months again for the next haircut.
