Tonight I got my Nando’s Fix.Β I had been looking forward to eating at Nando’s since I found out I was taking the trip here to Cambridge.
Of course, Nando’s is in many places worldwide, but not anywhere close to home.
Here was the welcome sign outside the door of the Nando’s we ate at tonight. It is not the same location where I have eaten at in the past. See Nando’s Fix V.
Nando’s was founded in South Africa, and I first ate at a Nando’s just over 16 years ago in September 2001.
Nando’s always has some interesting sayings on their napkins. I like this one. It is a simple Pucker Up!
I was out to dinner with a handful of people from work. Once I had said something about wanting to go to Nando’s they also wanted to go. One of my colleagues is originally from South Africa, so she really enjoyed it.
At Nando’s they have a wide selection of Peri-Peri sauces. I like the taste of the Medium Peri-Peri Sauce, but also the heat of the hotter ones.
Here is the chicken that I ordered. I had both chips and mashed potatoes, which I know is a bit strange. However, I like both at Nando’s and just had to have them.
I tried the Mango-Lime chicken tonight and it was very good.
The chicken was so good that I ate all but the bones. Here is a picture of my bone pile. I was really hungry and I had a very light lunch.
As we were leaving I stopped to take a picture of the big neon chicken that is on the side of the restaurant. I think it looks pretty cool π
It was nice to get my Nando’s fix. How long will I have to wait for my next one? Maybe just till Saturday π
Have you ever eaten at Nando’s?
Steven
