Tonight has been busy watching baseball, so I will make a quick post. This is a follow-up to a post from earlier this year when I was also visiting Toronto.
The area Around the Westin is very scenic, especially this time of year when you have fall color.
This was the view from my room shortly after I checked in last night. I like the lights from the buildings and the cloudy sky that is lit up by city lights.
Here is a picture of my room. I was a bit disappointed that my room was not in the main tower, but I do like the fact that there is a little balcony that I can go out on. The balconies in the tower are all closed off. I guess there is some advantage to being on a lower floor. The TV is now showing the final innings of the Kansas City game.
When I stay at the Westin I always walk down the driveway and over to Tim Hortons for breakfast. Here you can see my sausage biscuit, doughnut and hot chocolate. I really like the cup with the hockey theme.
I always like seeing the flower clock at the Westin. You can see that the clock is fading, especially the leaves on the numbers. It looks like the temperatures will drop below zero this weekend which will cause most of the flowers to fade.
As I walked back from work this evening I stopped to take some pictures of the colorful trees along the way.
Looking out from my room this evening I saw some beautiful trees with vibrant fall foliage. I really like the yellow leaves on this tree.
The game is coming to an end, so I must get this posted.
I hope you enjoyed my views from around the Westin.
Steven
p.s. The Royals just won!!!
