Another busy Wednesday so how about another Wednesday Wanderings post?
This has been a busy week, but it is always nice for Wednesday evening to come because of Wednesday Night Bible study. On Wednesday night we gather together at the home of one of the members of our congregation. This week we met at the home of my friends who own an orchard. We had a nice lesson from the book of James.
It was also exciting as my friends became grandparents earlier this week. The grandma is already with the new granddaughter and grandpa flies off to join them tomorrow.
Of course, being at the orchard also meant that I got to see my favorite cat Tarragon.
The drive to work this morning was foggy. Unfortunately the Foggy Weather made my commute a lot longer today. Too bad the fog this morning wasn’t a peaceful experience like this view from the Blue Mountains.
I have now read half a dozen chapters of my Biblical Lachish book. I am definitely finding out some interesting facts. One thing I learned about were two key innovative dig procedures that were first used at Lachish.
I also read this years Newbery Medal winner The Crossover earlier this week and can again say that I have read all the Newbery Medal winners. I still have a lot of Newbery Honor books to read though.
I have also been thinking about Canada as I had a student in my class this week from Toronto. I also found out this week that I will probably make another trip there sometime this spring.
Enough Wandering thoughts, I need to catch up on my sleep.
Steven
You lead an interesting life!!!
