The Barnyard Dog

I had a great Mexican lunch at Ernie’s before heading to a friend’s house to spend the afternoon.

Since I wander too much to have pets of my own, I always enjoy spending time with the pets of my friends.

Today I took some pictures of The Barnyard Dog. Actually, I don’t know the exact spelling of the dog’s name, so it gets an alias 🙂

The Barnyard Dog gets to hang out with Tarragon the Cat.

Barn Yard Dog, Excited dog, farm dog, white dogHere The Barnyard Dog looks so excited. The dog is always on the go and jumps around a lot. Quite the happy and energetic dog.

Barnyard dog, pointer, sniffing dog, whip tail dogHere it is sniffing around the cracks near a drain. It definitely has caught some type of a scent. Perhaps a mouse?

Pointer, Barnyard dog, sniffing dog, drainIt really looks like it has a scent, but no chance of digging something out of the concrete and wood. The Barnyard Dog soon lost interest and was out running through the orchard again.

Panting Dog, Hot Day, Barnyard Dog, Orchard Dog, 100 degree dayThe Barnyard Dog was soon back and was panting to cool off. This afternoon was very hot with temperatures in the triple digits. Not too bad in the shade though as there was a nice breeze.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

Steven
