Some Shadows

Tonight I will share some shadow pictures.

Earlier tonight I was thinking of one picture that I took last week, but had to have something to go with it, so shadows became the theme of my post tonight.

shadows, target, sunset, long shadows, treesI took this picture last week while getting ready to do some shopping at Target. I really like the shadows of the two big trees. If you look closely you will also see my shadow. I look really tall.

Long legs, walking, hiking, short days, evening sunWhich made me think of this picture that I used in a post titled Thanksgiving Eve Walk.

Evening Walk, Shadows, Street lightsWhich made me think of interesting shadows at night that are caused by rows of streetlights.

Tree shadows, Mexico, CoyoacanThe first image also made me think of shadows of trees on walls and I remembered this picture that I took near our office in Mexico City. It is in the beautiful neighborhood of Coyoacan.

More Twinkies Flavors

I recently picked up a couple boxes of Twinkies during a visit to Wal-Mart. This is usually where I will find new flavors, as most of the other places that I shop at only stock the basic Hostess items.

Orange Creme, Twinkies, Hostess, new flavors, limited editionThe first one that I tried was Orange Creme Pop Twinkies. The box itself is well decorated and inviting. It makes you think of summer.

I also like that they called it ‘Pop’ as that is the right term for that fizzy drink.

Of course, they could be just using Pop as short for Popsicle as one is shown on the box.

Orange Creme, Twinkies, Hostess, new flavors, limited editionThese Twinkies were really good. They really did make you think of orange pop when you ate them. They had a great flavor.

Hostess, Moonberry Twinkies, Limited Edition Flavors, snack foodThe second box was Moonberry Twinkies. These were quite interesting. I assume that they were created because of the anniversary of the moon landing which was so much in the news recently.

Hostess, Moonberry Twinkies, Limited Edition Flavors, snack foodTo be honest, they just don’t look that good. The color is a little bit unappetizing.

Hostess, Moonberry Twinkies, Limited Edition Flavors, snack foodThey also just did not taste that good. Kind of a neutral flavor. To be honest I am not sure what flavor of berry they are supposed to taste like. There is no flavor listed anywhere on the box.

Perhaps they are supposed to taste like moon dust?

There is no question which of these I like better.
