Tonight I was able to see part of the lunar eclipse.
My first view of the eclipse was through the clouds as the moon rose over the roofs to the east. You can just barely see the red moon through the clouds.
I had a pretty good view as the moon rose higher into the sky. I took all these pictures without a tripod, so along with the clouds the pictures are not too clear.
Here you can see the light clouds a bit better as they partly obscure the red moon.
I did get a pretty clear shot as the moon started to move out of the shadow of the earth.
A couple commercial breaks later the moon had almost moved out of the shadow of the moon. You can tell here that there were still some light clouds.
It was cool to see another lunar eclipse. Perhaps next time the sky will be clearer and I will use a tripod 🙂
