This month was a short one. However, it was full of activity.

The month started off with the celebration of the Lunar New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Tiger.

I finally visited the Hobby Lobby that opened near me.

I watched a lot of the Winter Olympics. The curling match above was not from the Olympics, but was while I was staying in a hotel in Toronto six years ago. We do see Curling on TV sometimes in the US now. It was really nice to see a lot of Curling during the Olympics.

I also had some memories from my trip to Beijing during the Olympics.

I also had some memories from my trips to Milan during the closing ceremonies. The next Winter Olympics will be co-hosted by Milan.

I taught courses for two weeks in the office this month that made for long days commuting over the Altamont. This week was interesting as I drove through snow on my way home one evening.

Just a few more days and we will see whether March comes in like a lamb or a lion.
