This week the Manteca Bulletin reported that a combined demolition and construction permit has been submitted for the Manteca Chick-fil-A.
This is the first news that I have seen about the proposed Chick-fil-A in Manteca since it was going through the Manteca Planning Commission back in December 2017.
The Chick-fil-A will be a the corner of E. Yosemite Avenue and Northwoods Avenue in Manteca.
The site where they plan to build the Chick-fil-A is currently occupied by Super Buffet, which will be torn down. The building for Chick-fil-A will be setback on the north side of the lot so will not be directly on Yosemite Avenue.
Here is a map showing the location in Manteca. It will be very convenient for people who are heading out to Yosemite on Highway 120. There are also a lot of businesses in the area, so it will be well located.
The Manteca Chick-fil-A will be about 16 miles from where I live and when it opens will be the Closest Chick-fil-A to me.
It will be interesting to see how long it will be before demolition and then construction begins. Hopefully it won’t be too long before there is a sign like this at the site.
I will have to visit one of my favorite used book stores more often once construction begins.
