Watching a Fire

While I was on my way to the library this afternoon I heard several emergency vehicles off in the distance. Little did I know that I would soon be watching a fire.

No, the library was not on fire. That would be a very bad thing.

I could also really start to smell the smoke.Tracy Fire, Fire Department, apartment fire, Tracy CaliforniaThe wind soon shifted again and you could again see the building. There was also less smoke from the fire at this point as it looks like they finally made it inside the building to start putting out the fire.

By the time I was finished at the library they were starting to wrap things up but there was still a good sized group of people watching the firefighters at work.

This reminded me of times when I was little and would sometimes follow firetrucks to see where a fire was. I think I got in trouble a few times 🙂
