This year Hostess has again released special CupCakes for the baseball season.
However, this year they have doubled the fun with Night Game and Day Game versions.

Of course the Day Game is yellow cake and the night game is Chocolate Cake.

They both have the squiggles that looks like the lacings on a ball.

Here you see the sides of the boxes and the contrast between the two cakes. This is especially nice for those who had wanted chocolate cakes as the past two years the cakes were only in yellow cake.

Can you tell here which CupCake is which? Can you tell the difference?

Here the CupCakes are matched with their boxes and you can see that the frosting is darker on the chocolate cake or Night Game CupCake. The frosting is not thick enough to keep the chocolate from showing through.

Of course, both CupCakes have a creamy filling.

Which one did I like better? You should know by now that I like yellow/white cake better than chocolate, so the answer is clear.
