Last month when I found Hostess BASEBALL CupCakes at the grocery store I also found another flavor.

I finally got around to trying the Sea Salt Caramel CupCakes tonight. Hostess has been releasing a lot of new flavors into their CupCakes line of snack cakes.

Of course, Sea Salt Caramel is a popular flavor right now, so why not introduce one as well.

The Sea Salt Caramel CupCakes have The Original Squiggle, like most of the new flavors have. However, they don’t get the double one like the Baseball CupCakes.

The CupCakes are individually wrapped which makes it easy to throw one in my work bag for an afternoon snack.

Here is a good look at the Original Squiggle and also the small pieces of sea salt that are embedded in the frosting.

Of course I am sure you want to see what it looks like inside. Instead of the white creme filling that most CupCakes have, this one has a caramel creme filling.

The CupCakes have a really nice aroma, and also a nice taste. They are a bit sweet, but the salt balances it out.
