Where will I wander to next? My next big trip will be across the Pacific Ocean to Shanghai.

I always like to visit Shanghai, especially for the wonderful food.

I am starting to think about some of the food that I want to eat while I am there. One place I really want to go to is Nanxiang Mantou Dian to get some delicious Shanghai Dumplings. You can follow the link to learn more about them.

We will probably visit Nanjing Road which is the most famous shopping street in Shanghai. However, the neon lights won’t look quite this nice. They have removed some of the lights at this intersection and it is just not the same as it was. I was a bit disappointed during my last trip. See Shanghai Nights.

I will be there at the wrong time of year for Chinese Flowers, but I am sure that we will make a visit to the Bund. From the Bund you get a good view of the Pudong skyline and some of the tallest buildings in the world.

In this picture are two of the top ten tallest buildings in the world. Number two is the Shanghai Tower and number six is the Shanghai World Financial Center. They are the blue building with the square hole and the black building that rises into the clouds. At the left is the Oriental Pearl Tower which is third tallest concrete tower in the world.

Did I mention the food? I am now hungry for some real Chinese Food.
