Tonight was the annual Gift Exchange with some of my best friends.
Of course we had some good eats.
We had some wonderful fried chicken wings that were brought by Fred. These were really delicious.
There were also some wonderful little meat balls that were covered in a delicious BBQ sauce.
Chips, dips, fondue, breads, cookies, and much more. All were wonderful.
Of course we also had to sing Christmas songs because it is our tradition. Especially fun was our wonderful rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.
I was planning a gag gift similar to the one that I took to the Gift Exchange last year, but then saw this wonderful item at World Market.
I thought of several of my friends that would really like this set of Matroyshka dolls.
Each of the six pieces in this set are a measuring cup. Plus, they nest together as this type of Russian dolls do.
My friend Kelly ended up with the dolls and I am sure they will look nice in her kitchen.
I got a music CD that I listened to on the way home. I am sure that I will listen to it again and again as it is a great compilation of acapella hymns sung by a group from Harding University.
Now to work on my lesson for tomorrow morning 🙂
