Gift Exchange II

Tonight was the annual Gift Exchange with some of my best friends.

Of course we had some good eats.

Fried Chicken Wings, Finger Foods, Party, Holiday Part, Gift ExchangeWe had some wonderful fried chicken wings that were brought by Fred. These were really delicious.

Meatballs, BBQ sauce, Party Food, Finger FoodsThere were also some wonderful little meat balls that were covered in a delicious BBQ sauce.

Chips, dips, fondue, breads, cookies, and much more. All were wonderful.

Of course we also had to sing Christmas songs because it is our tradition. Especially fun was our wonderful rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.

Nested Dolls, Matroyshka Measuring Set, World MarketI was planning a gag gift similar to the one that I took to the Gift Exchange last year, but then saw this wonderful item at World Market.

I thought of several of my friends that would really like this set of Matroyshka dolls.

Nested Dolls, Matroyshka Measuring Set, World MarketEach of the six pieces in this set are a measuring cup. Plus, they nest together as this type of Russian dolls do.

Nested Dolls, Matroyshka Measuring Set, World MarketMy friend Kelly ended up with the dolls and I am sure they will look nice in her kitchen.

I got a music CD that I listened to on the way home. I am sure that I will listen to it again and again as it is a great compilation of acapella hymns sung by a group from Harding University.

Now to work on my lesson for tomorrow morning 🙂
