Dunkin’ Donuts

Tonight I have been having a bit of trouble coming up with a post, so decided to write a post that I had planned about six weeks ago when I took the pictures I will share.

Dunkin' Donuts, Tracy, California, Donuts, coffeeNot far from my house is a sign that many of my friends have been looking forward to. We are getting a Dunkin’ Donuts here in Tracy.

Dunkin Donuts, Construction Site, Coming Soon, Coffee, DonutsHere is what the construction site looked like at the beginning of last month. I had planned on taking pictures during the construction, but have not been back to the site. However, I can see the area from where I turn toward home each night and the building is progressing rapidly. Perhaps this weekend I will go take some pictures for a future post.

Tracy, California, Dunkin' Donuts, Coffee and Donuts, coming SoonHere is another view of the site. I really hope that they keep all of the mature trees. It is such a pretty setting.

Dunkin' Donuts, Pouring Happiness Soon, Coming Soon, ConstructionHere is another of the signs advertising the new Dunkin’ Donuts. I do like the tag line “Pouring Happiness Soon!” I am sure that many people are looking forward to the coffee.

I am not a big coffee drinker, so this does not excite me too much. I guess that I could check out the donuts, but it would be better to just stay away from them 🙂

I do remember going to a Dunkin’ Donuts about 25 years ago back in Massachusetts, but don’t really remember the donuts or drinks. They were not memorable.

Tim Horton's, Canada, Coffee, TorontoNow if it was a Tim Hortons, then I would get excited. I could then stop in for one of my favorite travel breakfasts. Perhaps someday they will expand into more areas below the border.

  1. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Tim Horton’s in the U.S. either. I tried Timbits the last time I was in Canada and loved them.

  2. I’m actually not a major Tim Horton’s coffee fab but there are more than enough other stuff to miss it from time to time… there was also those childhood indulgences aka timbits! 🙂

  3. Jim Braman says:

Yes , best stay away from the donuts. Too many aren’t good for me!
