My last Mister Lincoln Rose post was about three weeks ago, so I am sure that some of you are wondering whether it has bloomed yet. I also need to write a quick post as I have been solving the Packing Formula this evening.
Yes, I have had the first blooms on the Mister Lincoln rose bush. They are a beautiful.
The first picture was taken on Monday when the bloom was not fully open. By Tuesday it had opened a bit more.
Here is a closer look at the first bloom. The rose is very fragrant and I really like the smell.
This morning the petals were falling off the bloom, but since the rose bush is not very tall the bloom was right in the path of my sprinklers last night.
Can you see the lady bug on one of the petals? It blends right in and you can barely see it.
The second bloom is now fully open and several more are starting to open. I really like this rose bush and am glad that I added it to my rose garden this spring. See: Mister Lincoln Rose II
I hope you enjoyed seeing my first Mister Lincoln blooms.
