Birthday Fireworks

Tonight I watched some birthday fireworks along with two friends who share my birthday.

In Cake Time, which I posted yesterday, I mentioned that I was thinking of birthday cakes.

Birthday Cake M&M's, M&M flavors, Birthday TimeAt Target today I ran across some Birthday Cake M&M’s. I just had to buy some. Those of you who know my love for M&M’s will appreciate this. The M&M’s were very sweet. A little too sweet for me, but I did have some Birthday Cake.

Birthday Dinner, Hot Dog, Broccoli Salad, ChipsWe had a potluck before the fireworks this evening. I had a hotdog, some broccoli salad and some chips. I washed it all down with some lemonade before having watermelon for dessert: How to Eat Watermelon

Red Towel, Red Tablecloth, Red Blanket, MemoriesThen it was time to head off to the park to watch the Apricot Fiesta fireworks.

I spread out my red blanket. Not sure if I should call it a blanket as the original use of this item was a table cloth. You can find it being used for that purpose in my post yesterday: Cake Time

I have used it as a towel, beach towel, tablecloth, blanket and a few other things over the years.

Now for the fireworks:

The pictures after this one are pretty much washed out.

Which fireworks picture is your favorite?

I have enjoyed going back through my pictures from this evening while listening to some great jazz music by Adi Meyerson.

A nice ending to my birthday.
