Last Saturday I only left you with a preview post: Zoo Preview
This Saturday I am doing the same as it has been a long day and I don’t have time to sort through 700+ pictures.
This time however the pictures come from the Blue Mountains of Australia. Today I took the train to Katoomba and took a long walk.
In the near future you will see more pictures of rock formations. This one is called Orphan Rock.
I also have more pictures of the Three Sisters. I saw them from many different angles today.
I saw several different waterfalls today and have a lot of pictures to share of them.
Of course, you know that I had to stop and take pictures of flowers. Here are some beautiful little white ones.
I also took lots of pictures of trees and ferns.
I only got a few pictures of birds, but I really like this one.
I think that this is a Superb Lyrebird. I will have to do some more research, but it may figure in a future post.
I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into my walk today. Look for more Blue Mountains posts in the future.
Steven

Magnificent Steven, you’re having a trip of a lifetime. That little bird reminds me of a roadrunner…beep beep
Magical walk, Steven!
I like those waterfalls – that must have been quite a scene.
