Today I have been thinking about my Grandma and Grandpa and the two posts that I wrote about them last year. Remembering Grandma and Remembering Grandpa. I was wondering which post had been visited more times.
Since they have been on my mind all day, I thought about finding a picture of them together and writing a post about them. As I was looking through my pictures I suddenly thought about two separate pictures that I had of them. They also made me think of two other posts that I wrote in the past and suddenly I had my title. Some of you may remember my posts Old-Time Photography and Old-Time Photography II.
This picture of my Grandma was taken in a photo booth in the mid 1930’s. The photo booth had only been commercialized in the late 1920’s by Photomaton, so this was in the early days of photo booths. The picture was taken when she was on a date with my Grandpa. So, is there another picture to go with it?
Of course, here we have my Grandpa. Don’t you really like his hair style?
This one has an inscription on the back.
“To the sweetest girl in all the world.
Your sweetheart, Harry”
I am just thinking, maybe I should have waited and shared these pictures closer to Valentine’s Day. They are so sweet.
But, since my mind has wandered to them today you get to see them now :-). Plus, I have some other ideas for Valentine’s Day.

B&W’s are always so much more artistic……as was your Grandpas post there. The mural in the background is so much prettier than what you see today.
His hair is priceless! Great photos!
Precious pictures!!!!
Old photo booth photos are so much fun!
