Wednesday Image Search – Walk

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last week I searched for ‘roll’ so I thought of a word to go with it for this week. Maybe something about movement.

Tonight my word is ‘walk’.

What images will I find?

Kingbridge Centre, Toronto, Training Center, WinterFirst we have a walking tunnel at the Kingsbridge Centre just north of Toronto, Canada. It was nice to have a place where I could get some exercise while able to get the feeling I was outside. Of course, without the cold winter weather.

Sidewalk Chalk, crayola, colorful chalkNext is sidewalk chalk that I took as a gift to a little friend during one of my trips.

Walkway to Backyard, mendocino pavers, concrete paversHere is a sidewalk down the side of my house. I had been working on expanding it, but the work has stalled out for more than five years. I need to get back to this task.

Push to Walk, Short Person, High Button, Horse Trail Walk Button, Livermore CaliforniaI really like this picture. I titled it Push to Walk. Do you know why this button is so high up?

Jena, Germany - Walk in the Woods - Winter Walk - Snow Covered Trail - Hiking - WanderwegAfter a hot day like today, this walk in the woods in wintertime helps me feel cooler.

These images show that ‘walk’ can be used as a noun or a verb.

Which is your favorite ‘walk’ picture?

What should I search for next? I will figure it out by next week 🙂

What to Post on Tuesday

For the last several months Tuesday was Oak Island night on the blog. With the season over I have to find something else both to watch on TV and to blog about.

The last two weeks I have watched Holey Moley and The Chase, which really don’t give me inspiration for a blog post.

ankerstein, building blocks, lego alternative, stacking stones, beer hallI thought about writing something about Ankerstein.

Newbery Books, Newbery Honor Books, Newbery Challenge, Library BooksMaybe something about books.

agapanthus, flowers, spring, bloomingMaybe about the first agapanthus scape of the year, but it hasn’t appeared yet. It is usually this week that it will appear. Perhaps after a few hot days I will see one soon.

Roses, tall roses, eaves, Mr. Lincoln RosesMy roses are not quite in the eaves yet. This picture is from a few years ago. You can tell because it was before my house was painted.

May 15 eclipse, lunar eclipse, cloudyI already wrote a post about the eclipse. See: Partly cloudy Eclipse

So I really can’t come up with something to post about tonight.
