I recently read The Ladies of Missalonghi by Colleen McCullough. The short novel is set in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia.
I really enjoyed this short novel and it brought back memories of visiting the Blue Mountains during one of my trips to Australia.
The Blue Mountains National Park is very scenic.
There are some beautiful rock formations in the Blue Mountains.
I was also able to see the Katoomba Falls.
The waterfall has multiple drops for a total of about 800 feet or 244 meters.
Another of the attractions at Katoomba is the Three Sisters. Here they are very difficult to see because of the fog, but if you read some of my posts about the Blue Mountains there are some better views.
I am also remember a nice lunch in Katoomba. I had a nice Pepperoni Pizza along with a nice can of Solo.
The pizza was really good. A nice crisp crust with a delicious topping. I also enjoyed the nice tang of Solo. This is one soda that I wish we had in the US.
