Wednesday Image Search – Cus

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

After searching for ‘bus’ two weeks ago, I will search for ‘cus’ this week.

What images will I find?

Chinese Circus, Shanghai, Acrobats, flexibleThe first image is from a trip to Shanghai, China in 2000. They took me to a Chinese Circus. There were no animals, only acrobats doing wonderful feats of strength and agility.

Jerusalem Damascus Gate - Stoning of Stephen - St. Stephen's Day - Gates of JerusalemThe second image is of the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. I have walked through this gate many times over the years and I also walked over it once.

smoky sky, out of focus, bad air qualityThis was an out of focus picture caused by smoke in the air. We had a few very bad fires a couple years ago.

Custard Pie, Dessert, BraaiHave you ever had custard pie? I was enjoying a braai with some South African friends in Australia and they couldn’t get a milk tart from the store, but a custard pie is similar.

Sydney Public Library, Customs House Library, Library Branch, SydneyI like to visit libraries when I travel. Here is the Custom House library in Sydney, Australia. A very unique structure with a lot of history

I had some interesting pictures to choose from for ‘cus’. I hope you enjoyed my choices.

Which is your favorite of these ‘cus’ pictures?

What should I search for next?  Perhaps I will extend the ‘?us’ series. Maybe ‘dus’? I think I have enough images to choose from.

Steven
