Tonight I ran across some interesting pictures from a trip to India a little more than 20 years ago.
At the resort that I was staying at they were setting up for an event and I noticed the workers moving a Coke machine.
If I remember right I think there was a total of ten workers moving the fountain machine. It was interesting to see them try and work together to move it.
They had ads like this one on all the trees as well as some larger banners around the compound. Coca Cola must have been one of the sponsors of the upcoming event.
This was from my second trip to India and the second visit to the Dominion resort in Bangalore. This was the only place where I stayed twice in the trips I have made to India.
I have a lot of memories of these first trips, and they come back often as I attend Teams meetings or receive e-mails with some of my students from those first courses on a regular basis.
I also found out this week that one of the students in my first course in India was just promoted to COO of our India branch. Some of the others are managers or specialists. I always enjoy hearing of the success of my students, and think of how I may have helped them a bit along the way.
