Welcome to another Wednesday Word Search where I pick a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.
Awhile back I searched for ‘hat’ and ‘bat’ so started a theme of ‘?at’ words. Last week I searched for ‘kat’ so will continue on.
The word for tonight is: Lat
Kat should be interesting. The string ‘lat’ is in some interesting words.
What images will I find?
The first image is of the cover of Flatland by Edwin A. Abbot. This is an interesting book and is featured in an episode of The Big Bang Theory.
This image is of the original grave plate for Martin Luther. It hangs on the wall of a church in Jena, Germany. There is an interesting story behind why it never made it to where he is buried.
Why did this image show up? This is a cup of frothed hot chocolate that I had for breakfast in a restaurant in Mexico City.
For this image we find the string in the name of the king. This carving is in the British Museum and is of Tiglath Pileser III. Is he wearing a watch?
The last image is from a Flat Stanley project I did with my niece. I carried this little paper doll around the world with me. I made a copy of it before I sent it back to her, and continue to carry the copy with me in my travels. I also carried Flat Stanley dolls of my Mother’s students around the world with me a couple times.
These images show that ‘lat’ is found in many different words. I had over 100 pictures to choose from.
Which is your favorite ‘lat’ picture?
What should I search for next? I will probably continue with the next ?at word. I took a quick look and I have a lot of images for ‘mat’ to choose from.

Good idea
