For quite some time now I have slowly been adding to my rubber band ball. It started as a rubber band chain which I then coiled up and started stretching rubber bands around.

Each day when I go out and pick up my newspaper I save the rubber band.

I then add it to my rubber band ball.

Over the years the ball has been getting bigger and bigger and is now larger than the pot that I have kept it in. I actually have a Carmex jar in the pot to make sure it doesn’t drop down too far and get stuck.

The pot that I keep it in has meaning to me. It brings back memories of my Junior High Art class where I made it. We had a great Art teacher. I will always remember Miss George.

The pot would not win any awards for beauty, but I did the best I could. At least it is still functional after all these years.

I probably wouldn’t want to put any liquid in it as it has a crack in it.

I have another pot that I made about the same time that I use to hold some special items, but I will share that at another time.
