On Monday I wrote about how I was Watching for Scapes.

My agapanthus bush had not put out any scapes yet and it is the time of year for them to appear.

I have continued to watch as each day I take a walk in my backyard.

This evening I mowed my backyard.

I had not seen the scape when I first walked into the backyard, but as I was mowing I spotted the first scape.

It was nice to see the first scape.

Last year I saw the first scape on May 14, so only one day later.

Now to see how many scapes I will have this year.

I am looking forward to seeing some beautiful agapanthus blooms.
