This year I again ordered my calendars from calendars.com. However, I had a little trouble getting them this year.
I ordered early this year and didn’t think much about it until I received an e-mail asking me to take a survey on how I liked my order. That prompted me to go back through my e-mail and see if I had any shipping details. I checked and they had been shipped but they had never been delivered.
Thankfully they were able to ship me a replacement order, but one calendar was out of stock. They did credit me for the one out of stock and thankfully it was the one that was last on my list and had been added to get free shipping. To make sure they arrived they sent them 2nd Day for better tracking.
The calendars have been sitting near my entry for weeks now and tonight I got them ready for tomorrow when I will hang them up.
I like to hang a barn calendar in my personal office (I have to say personal office now since I also have a work office space now). I like to look up while I am working and see a nice picture of a barn. Seeing barns always bring back some good memories of growing up in farm and ranch country.
The National Geographic Eagle calendar will be hanging in my kitchen. It has now been at least 13 years in a row that I have been getting this calendar. Eagles have great meaning to me and it is always nice to see the images when I am preparing meals or tea in the kitchen.
I usually buy an Elephant calendar, but again couldn’t find one I liked this year. However, the place on the wall where the Elephant normally hung is now taken by a painting my parent’s received as a wedding present many years ago.
This year I again bought a book related calendar. Perhaps this calendar full of pictures of bookshelves will give me some inspiration for arranging some of mine 🙂 I will hang it in my bathroom for now, but it could possibly get replaced.
For more than 20 years one of our service engineers has sent me a Hawaii calendar, and there is a possibility that one may be waiting at the office once we get back to work there instead of home.
What calendars do you have this year?
