During my time at home I have started to play my piano a little more.
I was finally able to take out the offending ‘A’ key. I did a little bit of trimming and then it moved smoothly and resets without any problem. Hopefully this time it will keep working smoothly. I have had to make adjustments before. If it happens again I may see if I can order a new key from the manufacturer. However, the engineer in me will probably just try and adjust it a bit more 🙂
It has been nice to play again, even though I am just playing some very basic pieces. The ability to play is slowly coming back along with memories of taking music lessons in the old Harper Mansion in Ottumwa, Iowa. I have heard my piano teacher play for a few on-line memorial services earlier this year. Good memories, and partly why I have thought of playing again.
Did you take piano lessons when you were young?
