This is post number IV of Are You Smarter than Your Teacher?
In the first post I explained what is behind the title and covered the first two categories of the game I included in a lesson on Psalm 119. In the second and third posts I covered the next four categories.
We will now continue on with the last two categories.
I teach Anatomy in many of my courses. So I liked this subject.
List at least 3 Body Parts mentioned in Psalm 119.
There are more than three body parts, and I will share some of them here.
Psalm 119:131 mentions the mouth which is a very common body part in scripture.
Psalm 119:135 mentions the face. Hopefully you have a shiny face.
Psalm 119:101 reminds us to hold back our feet from evil ways.
Psalm 119:171-172 talks about lips and the tongue which go together, especially when we praise God and teach one another through the songs that we sing.
Psalm 119:136 mentions eyes that shed tears.
The eye verses in the Bible have a lot of meaning to me since I work in Eye Care.
Name at least 3 Physical Actions from Psalm 119.
Psalm 119 is a very active book. There are many actions that we should take.
In Psalm 119:1 we should walk in the Law of the LORD.
In Psalm 119:62 we should rise to praise God.
In Psalm 119:32 we should run in the way of his commandments.
In Psalm 119:31 we should cling to his testimonies.
You can see that we need to be active as we serve God.
In the last post of this series on Psalm 119 I will share a little more about the theme of the Psalm.
I will also take a look at why people had a hard time winning on Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? and how we can apply what we learn to our lives today.
