On Sunday I drove through Manteca on my way back home from some car research in Turlock. I needed to stop for gas so I filled up at the gas station across the street from the construction site of the future Chick-fil-A.

The Coming Soon signs have been up on the fence for awhile now and construction is well underway.
Here is the view from my last update, the south end of the lot will be the parking lot and drive through for the Chick-fil-A. You can also see the foundations of where the building will be.
It is difficult to see what is happening on the parking lot end of the lot as there are large piles of pipes. It looks like they might be the storm drains for the site. You can also see a stack of building material to the left.
Finally the building is getting off the ground. The foundation has been poured and you can see part of the steel structure has been put in place. It also looks like some of the walls are ready to go up.
I am sure that things will start to progress pretty quickly as the walls and roof go up.
I am a bit excited as when it opens this will be the Closest Chick-fil-A to me.
Now to see how long it takes to finish everything and open.
