While leaving work on Monday I noticed something across the parking lot.
I saw six wild turkeys gathered around an entrance to an adjacent building.
Seeing wild turkeys is not uncommon in our parking lot as a large rafter of wild turkeys lives in the area.
However, you usually do not see them roosting on the rails of a walkway. They are usually foraging in the plants or walking across the parking lots or roads blocking traffic.
Here we see three roosting wild turkeys.
Now there are four roosting wild turkeys.
Here is a closeup of one of the wild turkeys.
The colors of the feathers are really beautiful.
For a little while all six of the wild turkeys were roosting on the rails. It was quite a sight to behold.
I will have to keep an eye out to see if I can capture more than six.
