Today there was a topping out ceremony at the construction site near our office.
The building has really taken shape in the last weeks while I was on vacation.
Here you can see one steel beam that looks a little different. Can you spot it?
The banners on the side of the building were for the topping out ceremony that had been held earlier.
Here you can see the white beam that has been signed by the construction workers and others involved in the project.
You can also see the traditional flag and tree that are placed on the last beam to signify that the building has been topped out.
Here is a view from below of the beam and other parts of the structure.
It will be interesting to see the building change as the project proceeds. It should be an impressive looking building when it is finished.
