On Friday I took another afternoon walk at work. Friday is always a good day to take a walk as the work week is winding down and it allows you time to think if you finished everything that needs to be done.
Plus, it gave me a chance to check out the progress at the construction site near our office.
The building has not had too much visible progress since I wrote my post Topping Out.
Most of the work in the past two months has been on the floors of the upper levels so is not too visible. However, if you look close you can see some differences.
Here is the ground level, for now you can see all the way from one end to the other.
In one corner of the site is a flood retention pond, and it is interesting to see that they are laying a network of pipes through the area. It will be interesting to see what this looks like when it is complete.
I like this view of the building as it looks like the prow of a ship. You really get a good idea of the size of the building from this angle.
I had a good walk, but it was very hot. The temperature was around 100 degrees, but since then a cool front has come through. This morning it was raining with temps in the 60’s. It is a bit early for rain, but perhaps it is a good sign that we will have a wet winter.

Great idea to walk to put together accomplishments completed post work week endeavors.
