Since I am flying off to Israel tomorrow, I wanted to get one more look today at the new Zeiss Innovation Center that is under construction.
Since I am busy finishing last minute tasks this will be mainly a picture post.
There has been a lot of steel erected in the last two weeks since I wrote A Friday Walk at Work II.
Construction started on this end of the building and you can see that decking is already in place for much of the area.
Here is a side view on the end where the erection is ongoing. On this side of the building there will be three more verticals, so it is getting close to the end.
Here is a view from the end where they are still erecting steel. If you look just to the left of the center at the bottom you will see the pad where the corner vertical will be.
Here is one last view of the building from the north. When I return from vacation the erection of the steel for the building should be close to being finished. It will be interesting to see the progress.
Of course, I will occasionally be checking in from Israel through the construction cam feed.
